Project: All Pets Pantry at North Richmond.
Designed and installed in December 2016.
The client had experienced increasing costs in electricity since relocating the business to its current location and needed a solution to keep his energy costs as low as possible.
Due to the large power requirements at this location we had to ensure the available roof space was maximised to its full capability.
This system ended up at 19.85kW’s comprising of 63 x Suntech 315w Polycrystalline Solar Panels on Clenergy Tilt Frames.
The inverter used was an SMA 20000 three-phase inverter.
The anticipated power generated at this site is 25,000kWhr’s per annum which will provide substantial financial benefits to the business operations as well as assist the environment by offsetting over 22,000tonnes of Co2 every year.
The entire project including metering and commissioning was undertaken over four rain interrupted days with full hand-over being done just in time for the busy Christmas period.
